ANN MUNTATI: TEAM ANGAZA 2022 - 2025

Ann is our Team Angaza intern for Olmesutie, where she grew up, sensitizing local families to the value of education and helping them enroll their children into school at nearby Olmesutie Primary. Anne also helped her community start an ECD preschool in a local church so that the youngest children no longer had to walk long, unsafe distances to start their education and teaches local girls about MHM and reproductive health. Anne has four beautiful children and, after she completes her service with Team Angaza, she hopes to pursue a post-secondary certificate in Teaching.

Olmesutie is the second community to partner with For the Good to open a secondary school, and its first class of students just graduated from secondary school. We also piloted our R.A.C.H.E.L program at Olmesutie with the tireless help and efforts of Olmesutie Primary School’s headteacher, Jeremy.

When girls get education, they learn how to better manage their families,” says Ann, explaining her motivation to join Team Angaza. “I wanted to be part of that change. And because educating girls also helps life for the entire community improve.”
