GETTING YOUR TRADITIONAL STYLE BRACELETS ON (AND OFF!)

Traditional style Maasai bracelets don’t have snaps and are meant to be worn snugly. Note that the proper fit will actually initially seem too small as it won't be able to go immediately over the knuckles! Getting them on requires a bit of care. Follow the steps below for success!

  • Step One: Lather up your entire hand and the bracelet with soap and warm water until sudsy.

  • Step Two: Open up the bracelet with your other hand and slowly begin sliding your fingers through. When you get to your thumb knuckle, this will be the part where you’re certain your bracelet is too small because it won’t immediately fit over your wrist! Keep sudsing up and gently maneuvering. Eventually your hand should slide through.
