JANE MASANTE: TEAM ANGAZA 2024-2026

Jane is our Team Angaza intern for Kone Primary. A high achiever since childhood, Jane was Head Girl at her middle school and found herself already advising other young girls before 8th grade. Now, as one of our newest Team Angaza, she has been identifying out-of-school children and supporting family’s enrollment of these children into school at the highest rate of any of our interns.

After graduating from Oletipis Secondary School, Jane went on to Kiriri Women’s University to earn a diploma in Business. She wants to pursue a degree in education to become a secondary school teacher, and is especially passionate about teaching girls’ at the high school level in order to help empower them and provide a strong alternative role model for Maasai girls’ futures. Jane has two of her own children.
