MIRIAM SEEMA: TEAM ANGAZA 2023-2026

“I hope to help Maasai girls by encouraging them about the importance of getting educated, of working hard, and [using] their talents to change the community.”

Miriam is our Team Angaza for Nkopon, Ormanagie, Emulua Lerai and Olorgisoyia primary and pre-primary ECD schools. She graduated from St. Mary’s Secondary School and transitioned to Maasai Mara Technical College but had to drop out due to lack of fees for tuition to continue. She has a daughter, Valentine, (one year) and wanted to become one of our Team Angaza volunteers to be a role model to her community, showing them what women can do with just a little support. She hopes to help girls “by encouraging them about the importance of getting educated, of working hard, and [using] their talents to change the community.”
