OLORIAN PRESCHOOL

“I love seeing all kids in school. When I now see them in school, I’m happy, and it’s rewarding to me to know that the community will also benefit.” -Naserian Naitipa.

Naserian, one of our interns, recognized that the nearest ECD (early childhood development) center to her home village of Olorian was too far for younger local children to safely walk to and that this barrier was keeping them from attending primary school. In response, she organized her community to open a new preschool in a local church just a month after starting to work with us. The school now serves 60-80 children daily, ensuring they get off to a good start on their educations.
