Robert Kamwara worked with For the Good for nearly two years when our work was based in Tharaka-Nithi County, east of Mount Kenya. Passionate about creating community spaces that support all people, Robert is an active advocate for countless community development efforts in Kenya.

After his work with For the Good, Robert founded the Naledi initiative, an organization that supports vulnerable girls in Kenya who have become pregnant and shunned within their community. Naledi creates a safe space for these young women to learn the skills they need to move forward in their lives without being forced into early marriage or a life of dependence. Robert was a Fellow at the Emerging Visionaries Institute in 2019 and works as a Facilitator for Gender Equity and Reconciliation International.
